The Ribera Half Marathon is incorporated into the Ribera Run route as it passes through the town of Pesquera de Duero. From the facilities of the Emilio Moro Winery in the same town, athletes are ready to travel the last 17km along the same route of the long test and thus enjoy the same arrival at the finish line and the passage through the same places of refreshment and enjoy the same cultural visits.
After a few meters running through the center of Pesquera de Duero, the route gains height to head towards the town of Curiel de Duero, thus facing the last part of the race. The urban center of Peñafiel will be accessed again by another of the river corridors of the region, the Del Río Duratón path, a beautiful environment that will rest the eyes of the participants and prepare them for the last effort: the ascent to Peñafiel Castle, headquarters of the Provincial Museum of Wine, elevation above 900m. altitude. From there, and after going through the centuries-old walls of this fortress, only the final walk remains, a swift descent to the Plaza del Coso where the finish area will be located.
